Description:

Well, you have taken your trusty old Solution and finally have it converted into the newest a greatest, version 8, er, 8.5, make that 9.  You finally have all the kinks worked out and everything is finally running fine. But is it running as well as it can be?  This month we will be looking at how to make an existing solution optimized for 9.  Take time to evaluate your system with respect to the new capabilities recently introduced.

What should we be jettisoning from old solutions and retooling in the new platform.  Does it make sense to rework your architecture to take advantage of some new feature? From the end users perspective what is the advantage? Examples of things I will be covering include layout consolidation, script streamlining, rewriting calculations, and old tricks that are no longer needed.
