Molly Connolly, Thorsen Consulting, and I sat down Saturday afternoon to talk about FileMaker DevCon, Pause On Error, and what she’s been up to for the last year. Molly will be visiting the IT Solutions office this fall for a Philadelphia FileMaker User Group meeting!
Matt Navarre, MSN Media and FileMaker Talk, presented a fantastic session at FileMaker DevCon on optimizing searches and how to add a Google-like search feature to any FileMaker solution. I chatted with Matt on Friday afternoon (8/14) about fmSearchResults, a downloadable solution that you can integrate into your solution to improve searching functionality which is available at www.seedcode.com. We’re excited to start implementing fmSearchResults into our solutions at IT Solutions.
I just finished uploading my interview with John Sindelar from SeedCode. At IT Solutions, we’re definitely not strangers to incredible SeedCode catalog of products. John and I had a chance to catch up on Friday afternoon (8/14) during FileMaker DevCon day 2 at the Hilton San Francisco. John’s Year in Review session this morning was mind blowing and we break down some of the highlights in the 3 part interview below. Jason Mundok, IT Solutions, interviews Tim Neudecker, owner of Kyo Logic, in Brewster NY and Westport CT:
Tim currently runs the Connecticut FileMaker User’s Group, and was the founder and former president of the New York FileMaker Developer’s Group.
Jason’s at the 2009 FileMaker DevCon now, and over the next few days he’ll be interviewing people about their experiences at DevCon. The miniseries is called “Five Minutes with Philly FileMaker”, and here’s the first installment, an interview with Adam Aronson of Full City Consulting, a Red Hook NY based firm that covers the NJ/NY/CT tristate area. Full City Consulting also runs two of our neighbor user groups - the NJ FileMaker Pro User’s Group and the Upstate New York FileMaker Developer’s Group.
More to come…I’ll post an interview with Tim Neudecker when I get into the IT Solutions office, and Jason’s got a laundry list of folks to snag, so watch this space.
